Knobs on my little big muff are in such order: Sustain-Tone-Level (level’s not marked at all), but knobs on device from DVD (EHX Effects sampler vol.2) are in another order – Vol-Tone-Sustain – and all of them are marked. I completely satisfied with the sound, but what is the reason of that difference?? Sorry for foolish question

Why on the front of the box is printed Made in NYC, USA. But under the cover is Made in China. Which part of that device is from Usa??? The print about the Usa is only the part of trademark???January 15, 2009 at 12:58 am #90751electro-melxModeratorI have a backwaards one like yours..S/T/V
I believe Scott mentioned that the first 5,000 (or something like that) were like this, then they redesigned it back the the ‘normal’ V/L/S, so it could be a collectable of the future!!
the volume knob should be marked though, maybe the person before scraped it off or something…

The print about the Usa is only the part of trademark???The pedals are designed in NYC, the diecast cases are made in china (like almost all diecast cases you can buy) the circuit board is made/ part assembled off-shore in Asia, the units are assembled in NYC at the Electro Harmonix factory and tested there. (all this is as far as I know )
it’s like buying a ‘made in the UK’ car….chances are the engine was part made in Germany, the electrics probably came from Asia, etc…..it’s a small world these days!

It must just be a misprint then….I’ve never seen another like it.
