Oh, thanks for the info
I suppose mine is one of those vintage LBM, the knobs’ order is Volume/Tone/Sustain
I’ve seen in every picture of the site that the order is supposed to be Sustain/Tone/Volume… Or am I wrong?December 23, 2008 at 7:39 am #89533julianModeratorwell I guess I kind of put it wrong
the old Little Big Mufffrom the 70’s has one knob and a tone switch.
Of the new Little Big Muffs- there are two versions, I don’t know exactly when they switched- but the pictures usually show MK1. You’ve got MK2. Besides the knobs being switched, we don’t know if there is any difference.

Oh, I think I’ve got it now. I’m new to EHX, I met the brand like 5 months ago and started building up my pedalboard just a couple of months ago, so I really dunno if there is any differences among the reissues and the originals, but there always are
February 7, 2009 at 5:57 pm #92884liveatsixMemberI had one quite a while ago with the “backwards” controls that sounded just awful. My volume had to be at 10 for any sort of fuzz effect at all. I ordered it online and sent that beeotch back after a day. Now I bought one last weekend with the controls in the right places that sounds just amazing and works impeccable with my setup.
Come to think of it, I had a Micro Q-Tron with a “backwards” band pass knob. The low pass was actually high pass, ect. That sounded like garbage, too.February 7, 2009 at 6:59 pm #92886electro-melxModeratorQuote:I had one quite a while ago with the “backwards” controls that sounded just awful. I actually intended to use my Fuzz Factory but it picked up radio in the studio and we couldn’t do anything about it, so I used the LBM that my bandmate had along. I loved that thick, ballsy tone. Had a lot of fun with it and am now waiting to have a look at the tone wicker version to decide which one I should get. It won’t replace the FF, that’s a totally different animal, but it’s a color I want to have in my arsenal. :rawk:
