Has anyone ever heard of a large cap to go on a stompbox footswitch? I tend to use my Freeze almost like a sustain pedal on a piano. I would love a larger footswitch.
Interesting! I have the Freeze pedal at the top of my board. In using the foot switch, I sometimes move the knobs on adjacent pedals. The other pedals are a bit taller. I am wondering if a “taller” shaft footswitch can be made to use in the pedal to clear the height from the others in front of it!
Usually there’s at least a lockwasher and , sometimes, another nut on the inside of the pedal on the footswitch. You might try removing those so the switch body sits flush against the chassis. That may give you the height you need.
There is a mod to add a external jack for a sustain pedal. It should be pretty easy to do, though I paid JHS Pedals to do it for me. They offer the mod on their website.
