Hey guys!
couple of questions for you guys(and gals?). I play a 1964 Epiphone Riviera my dad has given to me from when he was a kid, and i love the guitar and the tone it gives me for blues and rock, but i have ALWAYS wanted a strat because a lot of my idold played one (Hendrix, Frusciante(#1 fav), and the list goes on and on). But i also have idols who played a semi-hollow (Elliott Smith, Freddy King, Chuck, B.B., and again, and again,) so i want to keep my Riv
1m only 16 and dont have alot of income so I guess my question is- Could the knockout attack equilizer give enough of a strat sound until i get enough cash to get a strat?
Thanks for your infinite knowledge, Ray
yes … and no, It will get you somewhere close but it will sound more like a ‘generic single coil sound’ rather than an actual stratocaster guitar.
It’s a good pedal though and really useful for making your guitar sound like you’ve just put completly different pickups in it.
Thanks for the help

speaking of the knockout, i have a BBE Sonic Stomp that i love, but would prefer to be all EHX, can i get the same results from the Knockout to replace my BBE SS?
I also have a question: is the eq on this pedal active? I mean does it also boost or only cut?
