Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › Just bought the Pitchfork+. How on Earth do I set it for easy detuning ONLY?
So, as the title says, I can’t seem to figure out how to program a 1/2 step detune and a 1 step detune (for bass) only? I don’t need the chorus effects or anything like that, but I can’t figure out how to make easy, quick presets or whatever for those two applications. The closest I’ve come so far is that I can set SHIFT1 and SHIFT2 for a detune, but I still have to fiddle with the corresponding knobs, which is just more time wasted between songs. I know it’s not THAT big of a problem, but I’m fairly certain I can program the Plus to easily access just those two types of detunes.
Any help is much appreciated!
Detune is a sub-menu within each SHIFT channel, it can be used to adjust +/- 99 cents, which equates to one cent less than -m2 and +m2. You are asking about a half-step(100c) and full-step(200c), which are intervals.
To set SHIFT 1 to half step, minor second, +/-100c
1. Press SHIFT 1
2. Use the VALUE encoder to scroll to -m2(half step below root) or +m2(half step above root)
To set SHIFT 2 to a full step, major second, +/-200c
1. Press SHIFT 2
2. Use the VALUE encoder to scroll -M2(full step below root) or +M2(full step above root)
Once you have DRY, SHIFT1, and SHIFT2 volume controls to your liking, press PRESET and use the VALUE encoder to scroll to a number slot that doesn’t have a “.”(empty) after the number, and save by holding down the VALUE encoder until the preset number stops blinking.
