Hello,
I have been using the super ego original for a long time on bass and the auto tracking picked up notes very well however I always had an issue with it being too loud for the basic signal path regardless of the mix knobs. Figured it was because I am pushing a louder than usual signal through the pedal. anyways I have the newer super ego plus pedal and appreciate the new features. My issue now is the bass signal doesn’t track easily like the old pedal even with the settings set to track at the lowest volume and everything set to sustain forever etc etc. It works in general but then kinda just stops hearing the signal or doesn’t sustain for long even when the sustain setting is set to infinite. this is all on auto mode. I just wish I could play my bass through the pedal and not have it distort like the old one did (the new one is better at it) and have the tracking and sustain pick up the bass notes easier like the old one did and sustain forever in auto mode like the old one did.
