What’s going on at the beginning of Bohemian Rhapsody? Is that a vocoder? Queen never performed this part live, they always skipped to “Mama, just killed a man.”
i dont know the details for sure, but i have always been sure its just an overdub of his voice on top of the origin in unison, and/or other band mates singing in unison, not an actual effect. that was the whole point of that song, was to show off there vocal chorus abilities.
