Do I just need an adapter or do I need a whole ‘nother power supply to use my 2880 in Europe?
    Thanks.

    you’ll need a stepdown/”travel” adapter.

You mean one of those beastly transformers?
So I reckon there’s no separate Euro PS that EH sells?
    Bummer…

It needs same output voltage, amperage and polarity than your actual power supply. The input voltage should be 220v or 230v I think.

Awesome. That would be best for me.
I’ve got the rest of my rig set up so that’s it’s powered
by a 1-Spot which just needs a simple plug adapter (It already
    set for the higher voltage)

Yeah, I finally found them too. Shipping is expensive but I think I’ll have them ship it to where I’ll be in Scandinavia and it’s much cheaper. Thanks.

Would anyone recommend using a power-all supply with the 2880 or is that a no no?

it’s reverse polarity, so if you can find that, you probably could use a third party adapter, but in the interest of not frying a $500 piece of equipment, you should probably shell out the additional $5 for the euro/wherever power supply from EHX.

    understood…

the EU adapter i’d need costs about 15€ – so – if i use the red extension (polarity switcher) then ‘should’ be ok – yeah?

    thanks for the info!
