Packed with more power than pedals taking up more space, the compact Canyon delivers a dizzying array of effects. From immaculate digital delay to warm and warbly tape echo, reverse and modulated delays, cascading octave delay and shimmer.. we’ve even included an exquisite Deluxe Memory Man emulation. There are ten different effects in all plus a fully featured looper. Internal or external Tap Tempo with tap divide and a chasm full of intuitive secondary knob controls deliver a truly grand experience.

February 8, 2017 at 11:04 pm #122589dedjazzgadgetzMemberHi EHX !
2 quick questions :
A) From what I can gather in the (always excellent) Bill Rupert video, the REVERSE setting looks almost “real-time”, i.e. I’m not hearing the guitar signal being stored, then played-back backwards in say, half-second chunks, but rather seeming to appears almost immediately & continuously at the output… can you confirm this ?
When is it starting to ship for in-store try-out ? I’m in Montréal, Canada btw…
Thanks in advance !
Joël
February 9, 2017 at 3:57 am #122590EHX STAFFKeymasterYes it takes abt 300ms+/- to start spitting back what you play in reverse. It has to to do it in phrases like a tape reversal. AND it listens to what you play and waits for breaks to play back to make it more authentic.
Ship’s early March.

Well anyways, thanks for the super-fast reply !

March 8, 2017 at 7:10 pm #122676arielriveraParticipantHello,
So I pre-ordered the Canyon pedal last week on Sweetwater.com , and it’s now March.Any more specific date the pedal will start shipping ?
Thanks,
ArielMarch 15, 2017 at 7:32 pm #122691shadowghst7MemberI pre-ordered mine from Sweetwater too, and their reply to me today was; we’re showing an ETA of early next month… The original eta was mid march for the product. That’s only 2 and a half weeks away, plus the time for Sweetwater to ship them to us…friggin aggravating.
March 29, 2017 at 6:33 pm #122734EHX STAFFKeymasterThey are shipping now. Started last week.

I was a big fan of the Hazarai, and I’m now definitely a fan of the Canyon. Given the carryover of some of the sounds from the Hazarai (like multi and reverse), one item I wished carried over was the functionality of the Filter knob. I used that knob extensively on the Hazarai to brighten and darken the repeats per setting, and it seems like it would make a logical choice to include in the Canyon as the secondary feature to the Echo mode, especially given that the Echo mode doesn’t have a secondary feature assigned. I think the Filter function would be useful across all of the modes, but maybe there is a limitation? Given that the Reverb and the Shimmer modes have a lowpass filter in there, would it be possible to get Filter added to the secondary features of the Echo and Multi modes? Custom option?
