Well, from what I understand, this pedal is more than just a tiny replica of the Memory Man– more than just a Micro POG, so to speak. The three-way switches is where I’m guessing new stuff comes in. Perhaps a switch that allows you to make the repeats continue and fade out after you’ve turned off the pedal, somewhat like the Subdecay Echobox? Perhaps one of the three-way switches lets you use an expression pedal. As for the knobs, I’m inclined to agree with Fender&EHX4ever;.
Note that there are two output jacks, but the pedal’s title does not have the word “Stereo” in it. Very interesting….
I think perhaps I will create a new thread devoted to those of us that love to speculate on coming pedals, particularly the Memory Boy. That way this Screaming Bird/Mole thread can be for the Screaming Bird and The Mole!
I’m excited for those pedals, too. And I LOVE the idea of engineers explaining what’s going on with the pedals.
Also, I’d be willing to bet $5 that the Memory Boy’s appearance on that desk was not by accident. You guys love toying with us, don’t you?
So who’s bird is that? Does it live in the factory? I remember seeing it in the Boing Boing factory tour. I keep a few birds, but no cockatoos at the moment.
It’s Mike’s — I should go update the post…

I figured as much. A bird with crazy plumage to go with a crazy man. 😆
i thought that too when i saw the video. it’s probably to build the suspense of what the pedal will be like and everything.
