That’s basically it, yes.
June 13, 2009 at 9:56 pm #97869ghostMemberMode 7 on a PS3 is actually pitch shifting your sound, reversing it, and running it all thru a very short delay w/ feedback control.
I don’t think this is going to be happening on the Pog 2.
June 15, 2009 at 5:39 am #979262400ParticipantI plan on running my bass guitar through one… wouldn’t two octaves down push my signal out of the audible range? And, if so, is there any risk of damage to my bass rig when those frequencies are involved?

I’d definitely try -2 at lower volumes first.
That being said, I’m reeeeeeally looking forward to updating my microPOG with this bad boy. A bass demo would make my day!

A lot of EHX pedals would work perfectly on bass, and with bass players seeing the pedal light (LED?) more and more each day, demos for pedals that are not guitar specific would be fantastic.
So when you record that video, bring that P-bass! I’ve seen it on the micro-POG vid, so I know you have one!
June 18, 2009 at 4:57 am #98032lordviper63MemberCan anyone comment on how the tracking on this compares to the micro POG? From what I understand, the current micro POG tracks better than the big-box POG.
June 18, 2009 at 1:44 pm #98056julianModeratorI hope there is, but I don’t really know anymore than you on the subject. The EH staff members that post here keep their secrets very well. There aren’t enough awesome pitch shifters in the world. My HOG is one of my favorite pedals. The best I can say is that I know they read the suggestions forum and thus are aware of our desires.

Scott did say that they are using better technology in them.

Good to hear! Again, a bass demo would reeeeeeeally be nice. I know someone on talkbass is whipping one up, but an official EHX demo would be nice, too.
