It’s like an amp head — you only plug it into a speaker cabinet.

I love the saying on the product page “It’s not just a guitar head; it’s a shrunken head, with all good voodoo.”

i’m not sure if i understand the purpose of this… it’s solid state right? why not just get a 20w combo? is it for when you have a cab laying around and no easy to transport head?

I think it’s just a tiny little amp that you can use for whatever reason you want.

    …still not making sense to me…still can’t fit a 12″ speaker in your pocket…

    guess i’m just skeptical

    Well, I have a 60 lb 135 watt head.

Maybe sometime I’d just like to take the cab somewhere with me and not have to make the extra trip.

Will there be a bass version in the future?

i guess it’s usable if you’re playing at a venue and don’t want to bring your amp, and you’re relying on what they have there.

once again i’m saying ‘meh’. sorry.

but i want to hear it clean before i come to any real quick judgement

Or if you want to have a backup plan if you blow a tube.

a spare tube is more portable :p

Last time I blew a tube it took some resistors and a fuse with it.

So now we’re talking about having a spare fuse, some resistors, a soldering iron, and a screwdriver to open up my amp.

Honestly at a gig when I have amp or guitar problems, I don’t want to troubleshoot. I want to switch to a new amp or guitar ASAP.

Though really, I don’t think a .22 caliber would fit my needs for an emergency backup. I need at least 2 channels with independent volume controls, and a bit more power than that
