I just got the 95000 and absolutely love it! I was excited to see that you can import wav files onto the microSD card, but I haven’t had any luck successfully getting an imported loop to work. It is possible that I’m being overly ambitious with the loop I am trying to import, so I figured I’d get on here to see what I’m doing wrong. I took a song I recorded in GarageBand and split it into a master (for the drums) and 6 different loops for each instrument. All of the files are 16 bit 44.1 kHz .wav of equal length, and I’ve edited the tempo.txt file for the correct bpm. Is my 3 minute song too long for the 95000 to recognize it as a loop? Are there any other tips/tricks I need to know about when editing the tempo.txt file? I appreciate any and all help.
February 3, 2018 at 9:24 pm #123547EHX STAFFKeymasterMake sure the 6 tracks are mono tracks not stereo wav files. The mix down track can be stereo.
They ALL must be the exact same length. Not close but exact.February 3, 2018 at 10:56 pm #123548EHX STAFFKeymasterAlso make sure you name the tracks:
TRACK1.WAV
TRACK2.WAV
TRACK3.WAV
TRACK4.WAV
TRACK5.WAV
TRACK6.WAV
TRACKM.WAVMarch 12, 2018 at 10:12 pm #123690EricMemberIs it that the mix down track CAN be stereo or MUST be stereo?
March 13, 2018 at 1:46 pm #123692EHX STAFFKeymasterMix must be stereo or a mono stereo track.
March 13, 2018 at 5:12 pm #123694EricMemberThanks. After about 10 hours I finally figured it out. Quite time consuming to crack the code. I had issues uploading a mono track to mixdown, but I can try again. One could write a tutorial on just how to upload old stuff (new uploads are fairly quick and easy) with so many little things that can go wrong before you figure it out. I feel like knowing how to check if a track is mono or stereo was the thing for me. Google, I know. The thing is I use the internet and the library, so if they are closed I’m on my own. For anyone who is searching info: Click on the track and go to “get info” under “finder” on a mac (I couldn’t find where it says stereo or mono on itunes, but it may) and it will say “1 channel” or “2 channels”. One is mono, two is stereo. You can set your itunes to import mono by going to itunes preferences and “import settings” and change it to import in mono. I’m sure there are other ways, but this is where I am. I suppose that’s why it’s called “performance laboratory”, not “upload all of your old shit station”. Other than that, all this pedal is missing is a pocket pussy. You can quote me on that.

March 16, 2018 at 4:58 am #123704EricMemberWhat turns off tap tempo?
March 16, 2018 at 3:58 pm #123707EHX STAFFKeymasterIts on page 16 of the manual
https://www.ehx.com/assets/instructions/95000.pdf7.
TAP
Button
In addition to moving the TEMPO slider, you can
also change tempo by pressing the TAP button
two or more times to put the 95000 into Tap
Tempo mode. The 95000 produces a set tempo
by calculating the average of the
four most
recent taps in a grouping of TAP button
presses. The TAP button’s integrated LED blinks
at the current tempo.
In normal use, Tap Tempo ranges from 60
BPM to 240 BPM. The TEMPO slider can then
adjust the tempo from half the current tap
tempo, with
the slider fully down, to twice
the current tempo with the slider fully up
—
maxing out at a tempo of 240BPM. The
original tap tempo setting is located at the
TEMPO slider’s center position. The TEMPO
s
lider position is activated when it is first
moved afte
r tapping in the tempo.
Tempo changes entered with the TAP
button are
shown
on the LED display for
2 seconds.
To view the current tempo (in BPM) on the
LED display, press the TAP button once.
Press the PAGE and TAP buttons at the
same time to cancel Tap
Tempo mode and
return tempo control to the TEMPO slideMarch 16, 2018 at 4:18 pm #123710EricMemberThanks for the personaliized customer service. I’ve bought 5 pedals from ehx in the last 8 months. You are losing a fan.
March 16, 2018 at 4:21 pm #123711EricMemberI’m seeing that ehx like most companies are more marketing than quality. Try making something yourselves. Where was this glitchy pedal made?
March 16, 2018 at 9:02 pm #123713EHX STAFFKeymasterI answered your question. What is your problem?
I even copied part of the manual for you.
What more were you looking for?????
What was not personal about that???April 25, 2018 at 4:08 am #123833BobsmithParticipantI’m also having issues with importing.
I had a Boss RC-30 before, which could take almost any wav file I threw at it. Just drop it in the folder, it played! Even keeps the original name.Ehx, you have to simplify the process. 2 suggestions:
1. Allow a drag and drop of one file to a loop folder. Analyze and validate the format. Convert the file to the16 bit expected format and sum stereo to mono, call it track 1. Create missing files (tempo, other tracks etc.)
2. Create a PC & MacOS conversion and import tool. It can convert and make the missing files that we can manually import. This should be a snap to make, very easy! Please, this thing is 550 dollars. The importing of a wav file shouldn’t be this hard.
May 16, 2018 at 6:19 am #123908wgoldMemberOk. So I am just getting to know the EH 95000. I imported some mono tracks from my computer to a loop, the device plays the audio but my track gets cut off a quarter the way through. How do I extend the play back of the loop? I thought it would just play to the end? All of the tracks I imported are exactly 7 seconds long. Thanks.

May 16, 2018 at 1:38 pm #123911EHX STAFFKeymasterALL the loops must be the same length including the drum track.
