I’ve been running a fuzzhugger sonic bloom in front of a subdecay prometheus into a octave box into a 3leaf proton. Doing bass synth and lasers. The 2 filter in series is cool, but the fuzz takes it beyond. It isnt just a change in the filter cutoff pitch, but the whole feel of the filter changes. Deeper and chewier, like sound coming through syrup.
I have a Q-tron+. I love the fx loop, and I like the gain knob, but I can’t get it to give me these intense sounds. I’m about to throw it in this set up and see what happens.
Anyone know about the effect of input impedance on a filter pedal?
