Well because then I’d have to control it with my hand which I’d rather be strumming with. And I’d like it to be intelligent, not so random as it is when I do the frequency analyzer foot tweak while playing.

Si! Make more of these!
February 28, 2009 at 9:41 pm #94058StankerbellMemberYup. More of ’em. THOUSANDS more. At least make one for me…
February 28, 2009 at 9:42 pm #94059StankerbellMemberActually, if you could just tell me where to get one… I don’t really have the time to go to Japan today. Band practice, ya’ know…

XO tuneri can see you’ve been thinking of this list for a long time!
germanium definitely needs something like a muff built into it to power that worn speaker sound without loosing the gain.
please introduce a tuner pedal. i need one bad, but want to hold out until EHX makes one.
also need to reissue the deluxe big muff, deluxe octave multiplexer, and bad stone…. maybe as an all in one pedal??
i’d like to also see a pedal known as “the sh!t” with the tons of knobs. it’d have to have big muff, small clone, small stone, electric mistress and holy grail knobs and switches. a version with three stereo memory man knobs, bass boost switch, filter matrix switch, and octave up switch would be awesome. all analog too…obviously
June 16, 2009 at 11:37 pm #97982BlueSteelParticipantEHX should reissue that random tone generator thing. it’s kinda pointless, but it makes cool sounds
and EHX should also make a bit crusher. i’d definitely buy it.

Thats a cool idea!
June 17, 2009 at 10:31 am #97991Stoner WizardParticipantHello:
I quote myself from anther tread to place my “suggestion”.. The Screamin’ Mole Muff
Quote:“The Screamin’ Mole Muff”:What would be a 2 Big Muff circuits cascaded in series, with two switches to activate a bass booster (Mole), a treble booster (Screaming Bird).
Chassis: A sheet metal DMM-size would be fantastic, but… a new DMM chassis to make it pedalboard-friendly and conquer “new generation” buyers.
Knobs (of course, black pointer-knob style for classic size, or the ones used with the Hot Tubes for new style chassis)
* Volume: Output Level
* Tone: The typical Muff control.
* Big Muff: Sustain and gain for 1st Big Muff
* Bigger Muff: Gain for 2nd Big Muff. It should have a switching device to activate the knob if you wanted to use one or two BM at the same time.
* Mole: Bass boost level.
* Scream: Treble boost level.Switches:
* Killer Tone: To emphasizing certain freqs, to be used in conjuntion with tone control. A three way-switch with: “Thud” (low-mids), “Attack” (mids) and “Screech” (hi-mids).
* Mole On/Off: For heavy bass boost (a built-in EH “Mole”).
* Scream On/Off: For treble boost (a built-in EH “Screamin’ Bird”)Volts: It depends, I suppose. If it’s a two-pedal in one (like the MXR Doubleshot), maybe 18 volts would be fine. If it was a single-pedal concept, a higher than 9 volt voltage (12 V or 18 V) would add more “room” to the sound.
That’s the “theory”, but I’d like to know how such a weird thing would sound.
Regards
This is sci-fi (or not?, considering EH’s weird designs).
Another more “realistic” suggestions:
* A feedback loop pedal, to place you pedals in, and then… expressway to mayhem.
* A fuzz/random octave (to 2 oct-down) like my beloved MXR Blue Box, but with a third gain control apart from output volume and blend. It’d be nice in a XO box as Stereo Pulsar, #1 Echo… etc.
Regards.

June 17, 2009 at 11:40 am #97995Hookys6stringbassMemberI’d like to see the Clone Theory nano with a bit more flexibility i.e. like the original with depth, rate and speed…. Don’t get me wrong the reissue is good but just not as good as the original (I have 5 of them!)Failing that i’d l.ike to see it back to full size in all it’s stainless steel glory!!!!!!!!!
oh nearly forgot- i’d like to see a EHX rack or pedal tuner
September 2, 2009 at 7:34 pm #101123TheCapitalJMemberwhere do u get the templates from guys? plus a xo deluxe big muff that’s what i’d like 2 see
September 2, 2009 at 9:42 pm #101126BlueSteelParticipantI think some people have mentioned it, but an EHX tuner would be nice to have.

Whoa, just thought of something….
A fuzz pedal with a slider for octave down…to one, two…or….THREE octaves for distorted farting buzzing sounds.. or anywhere in between.
maybe another slider for octaves up and up too….
maybe this is just expanding the octave range and control in the micro synth…but like so many others, i need to hear two octaves down with my fuzz.
