That weird pedal with a mind of its own – EHX could also release a recorder to be sold as an accessory, so that if you find a great sound, you’ll be able to record it
February 6, 2009 at 3:20 pm #92785toothbrushMemberhey. what do you think of this?
just a random muff idea

I might try and tweek that a bit further later….I like the general idea though.
February 6, 2009 at 6:45 pm #92807McHavenModeratorI see that muff layout being completely possible. Dear god, I want to make it.

Maybe one of those mini toggle switches for the rus/nyc. Unless of course its like a blend knob between the two you were thinking of.

February 6, 2009 at 10:34 pm #92825BlueSteelParticipantHaving a blend between the russian and nyc muff would be great! Both pedals in one!
February 6, 2009 at 10:50 pm #92829Fbanks88Membershoot why not include the germanium fuzz and metal muff in their too! The first distortion with 18 knobs and 10 switches AND a footcontroller! lol

February 6, 2009 at 11:21 pm #92832electro-melxModeratorok, here’s the first Digital Muff……
features:
10 different muff models (including new ones)
‘tone’ ‘wicker’ and ‘feedback’ switches (available in all modes)
a blend control (blend your dry signal, ideal for bass players)
a ‘character’ knob…..different things depending on the mode (russian/usa, mids boost, dying battery etc)
left footswitch changes through the saved preset modes (even in bypass) and also controls the feedback effect (hold switch for infinite sustain when feedback switch is activated)February 7, 2009 at 12:00 am #92836JordanLikesToRockMember^^
Big Muff with Hazarai
😆February 7, 2009 at 12:12 am #92837Fbanks88Member…..digital? 10 digital presets, emulating 10 analog devices? HAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA lol ….what if it were digitaly controlled. but still analog based. you could have the curcuitry from every one of these pedals but digitaly switch between them… so it’d be like having 10 pedals packaged into one box…. that would definitely be an advantage! and loosen up room on your pedal board… i’d swap the muff fuzz out with a blues muff you could call it “Butter Muff”.
February 7, 2009 at 12:28 am #92842julianModeratorI wouldn’t be into a modeling muff, although a digital muff that had some unique digital fuzz effect would be cool.
But those multi FX people who use all amp modelers and stuff would probably drool over that.
February 7, 2009 at 12:36 am #92844Fbanks88Memberi have a korg all in one FX widget that also had amp modling….. that thing put out the strangest racket. it had one of those aplhanumeric led displays and you could hear differents types of hum when different sections of it lit up…. and most of the FX were crap anyways too. i’ve never really been impressed with digital modulating FX, i think the only real exception would be digital delays like the SMMH. Marshall makes a digital Modulating effect called the Regenorator, it sounds so layered, it sounded like all they did was mix your dry signal in with some swoopy noise. XP it was unpleasant.
