Why not an effect pedal… with a mind of its own… that makes up its own desicions on what it wants to be or do, just a box with a switch on it. No rhyme or reason, its just what the box felt like doing today. One day its an envelope filter. the next day it decides to take on flanging as a hobby.

it would be horrible if you found a really great flanger sound, went to record it then when you switched it on again was a ring mod. :freak:

February 6, 2009 at 12:31 am #92754Fbanks88Memberok ok. a friend of mine told me this prank you can do! Plug a fuzz pedal into the FX send/return on their Amp. and at random moments during their set hit the pedal and for a moment and turn it off right quick. Later on in a quiet moment turn it on again and then wait for the guy to hit the amp a couple times and then turn it off. XP so horrible!
February 6, 2009 at 4:11 am #92763StankerbellMemberHaha! Our frontman needs something like that to happen to him. He gets so in to being the frontman that he forgets how to play his guitar sometimes (could be the beer). He’ll suddenly remember how to play his guitar, and it will sound AMAZING. It would be wonderful if I could control his sound… Especially during the times when he remembers how to play… Plus, my stage persona is all about annoying him as much as possible… I do think that’s starting to carry over into everyday life, too, though… Should make touring fun…
February 6, 2009 at 5:29 am #92764Fbanks88Memberalmost sounds like a good way to be looking for a new frontman lol.

Haha, but that Yamaha is digital. Those old EHX drums are completely analog ( – the instant replay, but even that is 8-bit lofi) .
