Or you could use a 1 Spot.

Hi there, newby alart here.. :thumb:
Is it possible to power the Memory Boy with a 1Spot (or in my case: Cioks Big John)??
That would be nice.
Just a normal Boss style (center negative) plug?March 20, 2010 at 4:00 pm #108665ToonsterMemberAs Flick says: you can use a 1spot, don’t know of the Big John, but as long as it is 9v and has enough mA it would do the work!

I just wanted to verify if there aren’t any negative site-effects when hooked up a shared power supply. I also read a post that there will be negative impact on your effects chain when no seperate power supply is used for the Memory Boy.
March 20, 2010 at 4:31 pm #108671ToonsterMemberThe Big John has 600mA output power (googled that), so as long as your pedal rig is underneath that, you will have enough power and no problems..

I find I can get longer delay times (at the expense of fidelity) with the lower voltage.
The G-bus 8 supplies 1700 mA, which is plenty for my system.

That’s the correct adapter.
