I just got a hum debugger for Christmas. The guitar comes through fine, but when the pedal is engaged, everything is muted. I use the proper ac adapter. I believe it was purchased from musicians friend, which is a fairly legitimate dealer. Is there something I’m doing wrong or is it just broken?
Sorry to hear you have a problem!!!
The power supply is 7.5 VAC and it needs that power supply to operate.
Musicians Friend is great to deal with.
Call them and they will take it back and send you another fast.
Do not worry they will take care of you.
