I have one amplifier, an Ibanez distortion pedal, and a Micro Pog. I want to try playing a distorted dry signal and a clean sub-octave simultaneously:
Unfortunately, I can’t get this setup to work. It seems that one wire takes priority over the other; sometimes, I can get the distorted dry signal to come through, other times the clean effect to come through, but never both at the same time. Does this have to do with the design of the Micro Pog itself? Will I have to get a second amp? Or is this something a Micro Pog should be able to pull off? (And if so, what might be causing these problems?)
By the way, I’ve checked and every connector and piece of wiring works fine when I’m using only one pedal. It seems to be that a certain cord takes priority over the other when I use the two pedals together, however.
PS I’ve also made sure I have everything plugged into the proper input and output sides on each pedal.
You might try adding a small mixer between your signals and the amp.
If you are any good with a soldering iron you could try building one of these

I ended up just getting a cheap, used, bassy-sounding amp to run the sub-octave signal through.
