Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › How to fix footswitch on my superego
Hey, first time on here, was wondering if anyone has replaced the footswitch on a superego, and is it difficult? The switch itself has like a little circuit board attached to it, so not sure where I could find one of those as well.
What was wrong with it? I just purchased a Superego and I’m disappointed with how noisey the footswitch is. There will be no recording with a mic’d amp because it pops and rattles so loud. In the reviews people were praising how quiet the switch is. Did I get a funky one?
The internal footswith shaft is PLASTIC!! How cheap can you get? the thing just snapped in the middle. At least my $39 1970’s big muff had a total metal footswitch!! JEEZ!!
I haven’t bonded with the Superego yet. I need to set it up with some different things in the loop and see if that tickles my fancy. So far it seems kinda glitchy. The youtube videos of it make it sound awesome. I was looking forward to having frozen chords to wank over, but I don’t want static drab chords. I want something more swirley and alive. Get all trippy up in this beezotch.
