Hi. I’ve bought a 1980 V5 Electric Mistress that sounds fantastic. But it also produces prominent clock noise as the colour knob is turned up.

Is clock noise only a symptom of the trimpots needing alignment, or can there be more to it?

What are my options to resolve it?
