i assume its just a electric guitar recorded unplugged, but i want to simulate it plugged in.

so far im guessing to try my Screaming bird treble booster with a slight envelope filter like a doctor Q

    any other ideas?

i really need this info for a local band than wants to use that sound in there own stuff, and have me create a pedal to make the noise.

i’d try this… or simply any EQ (graphic fuzz) and a bit of envelope

Its a bass guitar with EVERYTHING but the top frequencies roll off.
He thumb slapping the bottom strings.
A knockout pedal will get you fairly close.

    Low knob 0
    Dry knob 0
    High knob 10

A Riddle pedal in high pass mode will do a similar sound.
