I want to make a drum track in Cakewalk and save the file to my 2880 as the rythem track to lay down loops on. I can’t get this to work. Has anyone else done this successfully? What is the sampling settings for the output file and how do I tell the 2880 the length of the loop?
Thanks
the sample rate is 44.1kHz/16 bit (from the product page)
be sure to copy the tempo.txt file from an existing loop to set the tempo for it
and then make blank tracks that are the same length as the rest for the rest of the tracks (the ones you don’t want to be drums) in mono and one blank track in stereo for the master. name them track1.wav, track2.wav, track3.wav, track4.wav and trackm.wav [stereo].
should work.
otherwise, play the output of the cakewalk track into the 2880 and loop it by hand.
