    Hello Guys
    I just got a Hot Wax Overdrive pedal and when I was trying it for first time at the beginning it was sounding pretty cool but after a few minutes it started to sound bad and lower volume and sounds like a noise gate effect and I noted that it it past only in the hot tube side pressed if I put the both effects at time it still sounding very bad and the crayon side sounds better I guess. I am using the power supply included in box.

    this is my third pedal effect that I got from your brand and all are working very well but only on this I got that issue.

    reading in your forum i found a similar issue posted

    do you know any workaround to fix this issue?

    I have a similar problem with the Hotwax. The Crayon overdrive drops its volume after a while and the overdrive sounds really shitty. ‘Have you tried turning it of and on again?’ – Yes I did, and it sounds great again. But after a while the same thing happens.
    I returned it to my dealer and they say it has been replaced by EHX. But the replacement has the same problem. I doubt it if it has been send to EHX. Could you check if it has been send and replaced by you?

    Hello, I have had the HOT WAX for a few months now, and my pedal is doing the same thing, where it works for a short while, then the volume lowers and sounds like warm poo.

    I hadn’t even thought to check here but I have the exact same issue. Everything thing works fine for a while but with both sides switched on, after a little bit there is a very significant drop in volume and quality (unusable)

    Playing at home is a fairly simple fix, just switch it on and off.
    Disastrous at a gig though and it makes the pedal unusable in any band situation.

    Clearly I am not the only one having this issue
    How do I fix this?

    I am in Australia.
