Ok, here’s my analysis about this pedal, since there’s so little around.
I put some white noise through it and analysed it with an EQ software, and here’s what I got:
The Gain and Drive knobs both add (well, gain, sort of). Both more or less without altering the graph too much, altough one of them adds way less high end (>5khz).
Now the fun part…
The BASS EQ makes sort of a peak that starts at somewhere between 2khz and 3khz, and moves down to around 150hz, growing from almost nothing to almost 6dB.
The TREBLE EQ does more or less the same, but starting at around 2.3khz and moving up to 7.5khz… but it seems to be much less defined than the bass one.
All in all I can hear more difference between the DRIVE and GAIN when playing, not in this test… the DRIVE seems to be more defined than the GAIN and I end up using both BASS and TREBLE at full up.
Both gain knobs work somewhat with the EQ, so if you use the EQ with any of them turned up, it will sound a bit different than using any of them on their own, but I don’t know exactly how that works.
Lately I’ve been using this pedal on a smaller set, as to simulate a tube amp distortion (on the end of the chain), running into a solid state amp.
…aaaaand here’s the video to it, less than a year later.
