Hey guys i am a long time ehx fan and a gigging musician.
I am loving my hot tubes reissue (i also have an original too)
Since getting it it powers off when i turn on my pedal powerboard and have to unplug then replug in the 9v cord
This has been fine and an ok work around because it has been lasting through 2-3 hr practice sessions & live gigs
BUT last saturday night it wouldn’t turn back on in the last song, i covered it up and nobody noticed the lack of distortion but i want to keep this pedal on the board.
Here is my power supply:
bbe supa charger
All pedals have only 1 pedal per power outlet
Should i take out the battery?
Should i give it more power eg 18v instead of 9v? I know i can ramp up the power in the supa charger if desired.
Thanks
Ryan
It could be that you have battery power and adapter power, try just using one or the other, ie remove the battery.
I just got my Hot Tubes Nano today, and it doesn’t seem to want to work. I am just plugging the bass into the input, and the amp into the amp jack. I press the button and it lights up but no sound. With the fresh new battery inside, and now other power to it, it will only play with the TONE switch “off”. Otherwise, dead silence.
Can anybody help me? I was SO looking forward to this thing!
