Is it true or just a rumour?
A thread was started over at HC, linking musiciansfriend.com. The link show that they are clearing, the Holy Grail, out.
I’m curious. Figured I’d ask here.
I can smell the diecast from here!!
Aren’t the basic features on the Holy Grail Plus identical to the original? Has anyone done a comparison?
It was a long time ago when I tried both the HG and HG+ out, and I went with the HG+. They sounded pretty much the same, with the + having the extra features of room reverb and the amount knob. The amount knob was the deciding factor for me. I also liked the smaller size.
Yeah, the HG+ seems like a definite improvement, as much as I love the old steel boxes. Anyways, I’m glad that they are phasing out the old enclosures. It just increases the resale value of my collection everytime they do that
+1
and now it’s a reality.
Damn, I better jump on that Small Clone pronto!
Not a bad idea.
Small Stone! Fast!
Are they dicontinuing the holy grail all together, or just the old casing?
because why would they make a new casing if they are just going to discontinue it?
Done man!
I’m also really curious to see if these classic chassis pedals are going to be completely discontinued, or if we’ll just have the option to get either. If they’re entirely gone, I’m not selling any one I’ve got!
i hope they don’t discontinue the classic chassis. i’ve been wanting to get a holy grail, but been waiting a few months because i just got a phase 100 in february and now that they came out with the nano holy grail i’m debating weather or not to get the classic chassis or nano one. i like the looks of the classic chassis, but i like how the nano is smaller. and if they are discontinuing the classic one then i think ill get it because it might be worth something someday.
any suggestions as to what i should do?
Go with whichever one makes you want to turn it on all the time.
