I have a Holy Grail + and EH has replaced it once so I don’t think it is defective. My problem with it is I use a Voodoo Labs PP2+ and after a period of time playing, the reverb cuts out and it starts making a puttering noise. Anyone have any suggestions?
It definitely won’t work on 1 as it can’t supply ennough current for the Grail. 5 should be able to supply enough. Might also have something to do with where the Grail is in your chain. Have you tried using it by itself?
It is last in the chain. I have tried it in the chain using it with its own power supply but it is noisy as hell. Unusable that way. Don’t really want to use it by itself and my amp does not have an effects loop.
