I tried copying the settings shown in the demo video for the ‘cello’ sound, and it indicates the spectral gate is active. My sound is really muffled compared to the video using the spectral gate.

I tried using different guitars with different pickups (single coil, active single coil, humbuckers) and it made no difference. I tried boosting the treble on the amp with no luck either. With the spectral gate [strong][em]active[/em][/strong], the frequency and resonance filters exhibit no treble response and the sound is ‘muddy’. With the gate [strong][em]inactive[/em][/strong], the frequency and resonance filters are very responsive, yet very noisy. Is this normal, or is the pedal defective?
