Hey everyone,

I’m looking at buying a used Ehx Hog. The guy I found seems pretty keen to sell it but it has a problem. Apparently, the octave down slider is stuck on and will not turn off. The slider moves but the sound does not change. Curiously, he also says that when a preset is saved, it does not save this stuck slider and the octave down can not be heard.

He has told me that apparently it is a common problem and that it can simply be fixed with some sort of Midi-triggered firmware reset.

I’ve been searching but I have failed to find anything which talks about this what so ever. Can anyone tell me if this is a common problem and if so how to fix it…?
