Hello.
I got a Hog pedal, one of the first you sold, with its foot controller
I like it very much, and I also have a Pog, a Big Muff, a Micro-synthesizer and an old Electric Mistress Deluxe.
About my Hog, when I put all the sliders at zero with the pedal on, there’s a little bit of dry signal getting through.
I mean that when I use, for example, the first octave down to get a bass sound (with the dry output at zero and the -1 octave at maximun) there is a little bit of dry signal mixing with the -1octave sound. And I can’t get only the bass sound. And that happens with all the different octaves with the Dry signal slider at zero.
This “fault” means, for example, that when you play with the attack envelope, you hear dry signal (with its slider at zero) first of all.
I don’t know if it’s normal with this pedal or maybe a fault of mine, but it works that way from the first time I bought it new.
Is there any way to repair it?
If there is any possibility of getting it to work right I would appreciate your help very much as I really love this pedal and all your stuff.
Thanks a lot.
Best wishes.
Francesc.
Hi –
I just checked my Hog & didn’t find this problem.
The only time I could hear the dry signal was when the “dry output”
slider was not fully down. There also was no dry signal heard while
using the envelope (even w/ the “Original” volume slider full up.
It sounds like your Hog isn’t working correctly
