Hey from New Zealand folks, new guy here. Just got myself a HOG (currently also have a POG2, Flanger hoax, and a Freeze, and have a question about the HOG power supply. It says in the instructions to only use the power supply that comes with it, (which I have) but I use a Cioks Power supply for all my other pedals. DO EHX REALLY mean only use their wall wart, or are they kind of just playing it safe? Obviously I will be sure that the current draw from the HOG is matched by my Cioks, or do I really need to use another wall wart as well as my power supply? My Freeze is fine on my main suplly, I have to use the Hoax Wallwart (because my supply doesn’t do 18v DC) so I’d prefer to not have to add another wall wart. I’m only really asking because the HOG cost a lot more than any of my other pedals, and I like to play it safe. I’ll have lots more stupid questions coming soon no doubt!
