hi I bought a hog first version in italy, the power supply is original 120v with an ehx adapter for 220v current. the foot controller bought new in Italy does not control the hog pedal, you can only access the LED relating to switch 4. has anyone encountered the same problem? could it be an incompatible power supply problem between pedal and foot controller? thanks
Are you connecting the footswitch with a standard guitar cable?
Yes of course I don’t understand what is problem. the only thing that worries me is the transformer that changes the voltage of the power supply from 120v to 220v. because the hog pedal was probably for the English or American market.
The HOG 1 and HOG 2 use different foot switches.
the HOG 1 has 6 switches, the HOG 2 switch has 2 switches.
You can only use the footswitch designed for the unit.
Please write the techs at info@ehx.com
I have already explained that the expression pedal is the Hog1 and the foot controller is the one with 6 switches dedicated to the hog1 version. by connecting the foot controller to hog1, only the led of switch n.4 lights up while all the other leds remain off and none of the switches controls the hog1 pedal
Thanks
I would try to find an adapter that’s already set up for your country’s voltage. The HOG requires a 9VDC/500mA adapter and the model # for the original European adapter is EU9LDC-500.
Ok i bought original european adapter EU9LDC-500 ehx, but foot controller didn’t work!!!!! Shit sorry
