Tagged: pitchfork
Hi,
I’m looking for help with the Pitchfork. My problem is with the expression jack. I’ve used a Moog expression pedal with a TRS without issues for a long time. It may seem odd, but for my setup I found I needed to use an external footswitch with the Pitchfork sometimes. I just got two to test today, a Boss FS-6 and FS-7. I tried the FS-6 with a mono cable into the Pitchfork and everything worked fine and I used it for a short session (Pitchfork set to latch, on). I then tried the FS-7 with a stereo cable and it didn’t work. However, after that, the FS-6 no longer works (tested the FS-6 on another pedal to make sure it worked ok and it does). I figured I fried the jack/board on the Pitchfork, however, the Moog with TRS still works just fine with the Pitchfork. Is it possible I fried the mono but not the stereo part of the board/jack of the Pitchfork? Seems odd to me, but I know nothing about electronics. Lastly, all other aspects of the Pitchfork still work fine. I tried unplugging the Pitchfork and so on but still no luck with getting the FS-6 to work with it again.
Thanks and sorry for the unusual question!
