    So recently, I got this EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress pedal from a friend and somehow when it’s all hooked up, the bypass works but when it’s turned on, there’s no sound. Would anyone know what would be wrong with it?

    There are no LED’s or anything with light.

    First, check the output of the AC adapter. Make sure it’s not dead.

    Tried about 5 different adapters. My friend has the same pedal, tried his AC adapter and it still didn’t work.

    I’ll post pics in a little bit soon as I get them in my email.

    What the hell is that those pictures aren’t very clear. Is it a loose wire? If not, then you’ll probably have to post a pic of the top of the board.

    So is it working now?

    Make sure you connect up to the “Flanged output”. As obvious as that may seem, I found that plugging into the dry output even simultaneously with the flanged output, significantly weakens the effect.
