Hello,
I just purchased the “one” I was hunting for…the only question is can I get some help verifying it is a V4 (as opposed to a V3). I am 99.99% sure and would like to rid myself of that .01% of doubt.
It is on its way, so the pictures I have on hand are the best I can do.
The pot positions seem legit / the guts / presence of the “AC” look to be in line with a V4- can’t get a look under the hood for the op amp chips right now- please help in confirming this as being an early V4.
Thank you!
Yep. That’s the V4 with the 1322 board. The same board was also used in the V5 with the tone bypass switch, but yours is the on/off V4 version. Looks to be in good shape.
/bow I could not have asked for a better person to confirm my purchase.
Thank you very much for your response & in general, your work on the Big Muff history. Great stuff.
Yup.. Def looks like a V4. And in really good shape. I just found one local a couple weeks ago. Its def my fav pedal of all time. Let us know how it sounds when ya get it!
