Can someone give me a good way took take the guts out of my vintage DMM so I can take some pictures of it? I’ve removed the backplate and can see the back of the board but it doesn’t come out so I can’t see the pots. I don’t know how to solder so I’m scared I might break something if I pull too hard. Any help, tips, suggestions would be appreciated. It’s a blue 4 knob deluxe. Thanks in advance!
Remove the knobs and nuts from the front of the pedal. After that you can lift the board out but do it gently so you don’t break the wires. You can then lift the pot up and read the back of it. Check them all if you can and go by the latest date.
Thanks alot bro! I’ll let ya know and post some pics when I get a chance. I tried removing the knobs the other day though and couldn’t get two of them off! Kinda scared I might break something.
Just grab them and pull them off. Shouldn’t hurt anything unless someone glued them on.
