Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › HELP!!! **REPLACEMENT PART**Broken Knob on ELHXMICROPOG Electro-Harmonix Micro POG 3-Knob Polyphonic Octave Generator
Hi All,
I snapped off the “dry” knob on my EH Micro POG. The nob snapped clear off so I am going to have to replace the knob. Does anyone know the specs for the replacement knob and where I can get a replacement?
Thanks!

just the knob or the whole pot shaft?
The knob now has 1/2 of the shaft broken off into the knob, So I believe I would need the new shaft as well as a new knob, unless I can somehow pry the remainder of the shaft out of the knob itself and then I would not need to get a new knob, just the pot shaft? I’m a newbie….does that make sense?
You can’t just get a new shaft, you’ll need a whole new pot. Shouldn’t be expensive, though. Any tech can do it in 5 minutes, and should cost him like $3 in parts. About the knob, it would be a great occasion for you to change those ugly knobs… Get some chicken-heads on it!
Great thanks! I have a friend who can tech this for me and I just need to get the part and he can do the rest. Do you know the specifications on which pot I would need for the Micro POG? Also where can I get the part?
The value is written on the pot. Should be something like “100KA” or “1MB”. Small Bear carries good pots, as well as many other online stores.
The value isn’t on the pots EHX use so you will need to measure it with a multi meter. As for the taper, you will just have to experiment to get the right one.
