I recently purchased a second hand POG described as “as new” by the seller.

After having it delivered to me I immediately noticed that, despite the shining new look, there was a rattling noise coming from it. I checked and found that the LPF Mode Slide Switch was apparently broken. It seems loose and I suspect it’s not connected to the circuit selector inside, but I don’t want to risk opening the stompbox.

I know that the seller will probably argue that the pedal was damaged in transit, so I’d like to check here first and hear from people who have a POG.

I have two distinct queries:

1- How likely it is for a LPF Mode Slide Switch to get damaged in transit? According to your experience is the switch frail or robust?

2- How simple/difficult it is for me to have the problem fixed?

I appreciate any help on solving this matter.
