I scored a Holy Grail pedal about a year or so ago and whenever i try to incorporate it into my board i always get this irritating high pitched sqeal (about the same tone as the open high E string) coming out of my amp. I’ve tried putting it in different locations on my board. Right now i’ve got it as the last unit before the amp because this is the only spot where it does not affect the other pedals.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
What are you powering it with? It is noticeably hissy with daisy-chains. A dedicated power supply is a good start.
Thats exactly what i did last night. I gave it its own power supply and that seems to have solved the problem. Everything else is all powered with daisy chains. I think my next move it to get one of those boards with a power supply that doesnt require daisy chains
