This is my dad’s pedal that he says he got when he was 14. He said that would have been 1972 and that the kid he got this from had it for a little while too. I’ve never really tried to find out anything about it but lately with I’ve been researching and believe it might be one version of the early axis fuzz/foxey lady/whatever else they might have been called. The input and out put are labeled input and amp and are backwards like the russian big muffs. I’ve take a few pictures of it so let me know what you think!
I’ve got one just like that. It’s the same thing but just doesn’t say Foxey Lady on it.
Also made by Aul Instruments then?
Maybe Mike knows a little more about these if he ordered these for Guild before he made the Axis Fuzz?
Scott, can you ask him if he remembers anything about that company (what they did, where,…)?
