Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › (HELP!) Foot switch broken on Polychorus? You tell me!
So I purchased a used EHX Polychorus off eBay. When it arrived the foot switch seemed to have come apart with the spring and plastic pieces all floating around in the enclosure. I stuck the foot switch back together and noticed there was ONE little oval shaped metal piece that goes inside the foot switch but the structure seems to fit TWO. One of them is missing? When I put back the switch the pedal will stay on if I wiggle the wires and wont click out to bypass mode. In fact, if I click the switch the plastic piece loosens from the enclosure.
Here are two pictures to give a better mental description of what I got goin on here:
I hope someone can understand what my problem is. Thanks for any help in advance.
Also, is this something that could have happened during shipping or do you think the seller sold me the pedal in this condition?
Thanks!
just buy another DPDT switch and remove one wire at a time and solder it in the same place on the new switch.
Where can i purchase this switch?
Thanks.
