    I know it wasn’t designed for this, but is it possible to use the Headphone Amp as a very cheap (and probably inferior) alternative to an in-ear monitor system? Could I take a line from the ‘headphone out’ on my amp and use this whilst I save up for a ‘proper’ in-ear system?

    should work. just make sure using the headphone out isn’t going to cut your output signal off.
