    is there some way to erase a loop without hitting by pass button? doing this takes time and it means playing with no fx got that time

    Erase The Loop
    22. Press the BYPASS Footswitch so that you enter Bypass mode and the STATUS
    LED is off.
    23. Press and hold the TAP/RECORD Footswitch for half a second.
    24. Release the TAP/RECORD Footswitch once the LOOP LED goes off, the loop is
    now erased forever.

    i asked if it could be done WITHOUT hitting BY PASS button…
    hitting BY PASS turns off the box and changes the sound.

    Mike no only as written above. FWIW it is one of the best delay pedals I have played.
