I’ve had a hazarai for 12 years, and it was even used when I bought it.
For a while now I’ve had the following problem:
-I select a preset, the light is solid
-after a random amount of time, sometimes immediately, the light flickers indicating a knob has changed.
This is particularly bad if a knob is set very differently to the preset, as it seems to adjust to where the knob is set.
I’ve been through each knob setting it to the preset value and it stops doing it if no difference. Can also indicate it doesn’t matter which knob is set differently.
So I sprayed all with contact cleaner. It seems like scratchy pots but maybe not if it does it so consistently with all knobs and returns the value to where knob is set.
Pretty old unit, but can anyone help out? It’s an old pedal because it’s pretty much used as an extension of my instrument!
The techs can fix it.
It is a fantastic pedal and should be working!
