What does that sound like? Could somebody send/show me any clips?
Sorry, don’t have any audio or video clips, but I tried my Ravish Sitar with a Boss Metal Zone MT-2 and also with in Ibanez Tubescreamer TS-9. Didn’t like the Sitar through distortion, to me, the distortion just ruined the exotic tonal characteristics of the sitar pedal. I prefer the sitar with a clean signal, maybe with a little reverb and chorus and delay added.
hi ,i got the ravish ,i was curius and confused about this too,and tried it after before distortion ,ended up putting after (i use an english muffn and a foxxtone ocyave fuzz clone ) ,and before the talking machine and others , as a vibrato (sounded great with the ravish ) ,a hazarai ,etc …
i tested this configuration live with muy band ,with pleasant results ….
the more subtle sounds of the ravish ,kinda like an harmonizer are great ,too
photo of my set-up …
Got a Ravish on the way! Can’t wait to try it, but have to agree that its such a unique sounding pedal from the videos I’ve heard that I’m not sure I’d want to cover it up with distortion.
