    In all fairness to Z, no other pedal manufacturer gets as much negativity on HCFX, short of maybe Behringer – and the majority of the negativity has to do with his pricing. That’s what irritates me. I never criticize the manufacturer for their prices – rather, I criticize the buyers who are willing to pay it. The fact is, he has a niche market that people are attracted to, and no one else is offering the same thing, so they’re willing to pay it. But too many members keep complaining about how his pedals aren’t worth $300+. Unfortunately, Z likes to defend his product publicly, which is probably the mistake. Let the product speak for itself. But it’s obvious that he likes the forum drama and debate, so this is the consequence – a riled up forum on a witch hunt screaming about forum standards, mod fairness, and blah blah blah. It’s sooooo juvenile.

    It was empty? No guts in it?

    Wow. . .

    I thought it was an actual working pedal.
    Just being an enclosure it isn’t that big of a deal.

    I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. the HC forums are the most embarrassing place on the Internet. The collective mentality is about 7 years old.

    I’ve met Vex in person and he’s a nice guy.
