I’m watching the Winter Classic tomorrow, then going to my favorite music store to try and land a Bass Big Muff and a Big Muff with Tone Wicker, then I’m going to watch the new 35 mm print of Slap Shot with my Dad, then I’m going to watch the Pens game that I missed by watching Slap Shot when they replay it at 11.

My gear plans for 2009 are Buzz stop for my new Jazzmaster (i’ve been slightly freaked out by how easily the strings can be lifted off the saddles!! so i just need one for peace of mind!) and probably some higher output pickups (SD Quarter pounders most likely).
Also, Fender TC90 – i’ve wanted a P-90 equipped semi hollow, and a guitar with a smoothed heel, for years, i hope to finally get one, if it’s a fender that’s a huge bonus, these guitars have stock seymour duncan pickups too.
Also, probably a Behringer SF300 fuzz (as more of a cheap toy than anything!), A russian Big Muff if i can find one (they work better with british voiced amps than the USA muff IMO), or a Tone Wicker, and probably a better delay pedal to replace my Danelectro which is pretty old and worn out and beginning to go screwy.
No plans really….sell some things I don’t really use and get something I will….still looking at black ‘lite ash’ telecasters… :facepalm:

’72 humbucker crap with 4 knobs :poke:Right now the Voice Box has me excited. I’d like to buy some hardshell cases for my Gretsch Synchromatic and my Fender Mustang and Jagmaster. I’d like a to get TV Jones Classic neck position pup for my Gretsch.
Other than that, I’ll always be on the lookout for cool vintage EHX stuff. I really need to sell a lot of stuff this year and downsize my studio. I feel like I have a pet elephant that keeps me anchored, and that ruins my aspirations to roam the planet.
lol, yeah it looks cool, I like the black on black look and the brass saddles, I’d have to change the knobs but other than that.
I’ve seen them for just over £300 (which isn’t much more than a high end squier) ….but that’s exactly was this is really it’s made in ‘Fender’s Korean Factory’ which I presume is the same factory as they made the Korean Squiers….not that I give two hoots about that.the voice box does indeed make me very excited too.
