Hi!
I bought my microsynth about 6 month ago. Bought it from authorized dealer in Moscow, Russia.
For some time everything was fine but then a started to leave it in my studio, on the floor on my pedalbord and eventually someone stomped on it and broke one potentiometer(Stop Freq.)
I went to the authorized service of the dealer and they refused to take my pedal though it’s still on the warranty. What should I do now?? I don’t want to buy another one, it’s expensive for me. Maybe I can get this potentiometer somewhere and replace it??
Thanks in advance!
I’d imagine a broken pot is not covered by warranty since that’s seen as “user abuse”. If you email them at info@ehx.com they may be able to send you a replacement.
Thank you for such a quick respond! I’m aware of that this is not covered by warranty. But didn’t they(authorized service) should to do that? I’m ready to pay for the repair, but they still don’t want to do anything(service in Russia).
They can’t set up authorized service centers everywhere. If you get the part you shouldn’t have any trouble finding a tech to fix it.
No no no, I’m not blaming EHX for not having an authorized service here in Moscow, I’m just pissed off with the service of the dealer.
Are You sure if I wrote to info@ehx.com about my problem they will send me the part I need?
I can’t guarantee it but they’re usually pretty good about these things.
Thank you for the help!
I wrote the letter already
